Full-time UK undergraduate students who started a course in September 2011 pay tuition fees of £3,375
per year. This amount increases each year you're here in-line with
inflation and subject to government regulations.
At Leeds we put the fees back into building and improving a wide
range of student facilities, such as refurbished labs, a new theatre and
performing arts space, computer clusters and sports facilities. We also
use the fees to provide scholarships and bursaries to our students.
Covering the cost with financial support
If it's your first degree you can apply for a loan to cover your
fees, and you won't have to pay anything until after you have left
university and are earning over £15,000 a year.
There is a wide range of funding available to help you through your course. Many students get support through our Leeds Bursary and some are entitled to one of our scholarships. You can also apply for a student maintenance loan to help pay the bills while at university.
