Studying at Leeds

We are one of the largest centres for research training in the UK, offering a range of research degrees - from Masters to PhDs (full-time or split-site) as well as Professional Doctorates.

As one of our postgraduate research students, you will be assigned at least one supervisor who will work closely with you. Supervisors draw on their own special experience to guide your work, give encouragement and advise you as you conduct your research and then prepare your written thesis.

Doctoral Training Centres

Doctoral Training Centres offer funded PhD opportunities alongside intensive researcher and professional skills training for UK and EU candidates (international candidates are advised to contact the relevant department for further information on their eligibility). Read more about DTCs
