This annual festival gives you a chance to spend time with the rest of the University community, while enjoying an afternoon full of fun. The festival is run by staff and features all types of entertainment.
There is always a wide range of live music: from Brazilian music, to opera singing, and rock. You can peruse a variety of food and craft stalls, many of which are run by University staff. It's also a chance to try something new with give-it-a-go activities such as roller skating, hula hooping, craft workshops and martial arts.
The festival features a tombola which raises money for a selected charity. In 2011, staff voted to support two charities - St Gemma's Hospice and St George's Crypt.
You are also very welcome to bring family along to the festival. In previous years we've had face painting, jugglers, hook-a-duck, and even a bouncy castle, so children have loved it.
This year, as well as all the usual activities, entertainment and good food, we hope to put together a special choir in the months leading up to the festival to perform some great, international songs on the day.
