The University is pioneering wellbeing in the education sector and our innovative wellbeing plan is already changing working life at Leeds - from the annual healthy week to improved sporting facilities. We're also using the results of the wellbeing survey to make the University a better, healthier place for you to work.
Our drive to improve the health and wellbeing of our staff was recognised in the 2008 National Business Awards. We were the first university to be nominated as finalists for the 'health, work and wellbeing' award.
In 2009 we won the Yorkshire & Humber Teaching Public Health Network's 'Health Honours Award' in the Higher Education category, recognising 'innovative practice that stands out from the crowd'.
This support is just one of the ways we look after our staff. Take a look at our staff benefits and development opportunities to find out what else you can expect from working at the University of Leeds.
