Large choice

Employers are looking for graduates with transferable skills, a career focus and commercial awareness. We provide opportunities to obtain these skills across our wide range of degrees. You can take all the traditional subjects and many unusual, or even unique, ones. We are well known for the large number of two-subject courses we offer and we encourage interdisciplinary research and study. Altogether you can choose from around 560 undergraduate courses

Quality

As with other UK universities, teaching quality at Leeds is assessed regularly by the national Quality Assurance Agency (QAA). In the latest audit by the QAA we received the highest possible result, confirming confidence in our management of academic standards and the quality of learning available to our students.

We have been awarded 16 National Teaching Fellowships (given to academics in recognition of their imaginative and innovative learning and teaching methods). That's more than any other English university - reflecting the excellence of our teaching.

Personal tutoring

From the moment you arrive at the University a personal tutor will support your academic and personal development to help you get the best out of your time here. Regular, structured meetings throughout your time here ensure that you not only do well in your degree, but also become a confident, articulate and highly employable graduate.
