International Students Open Day

The University of Leeds is holding an Open Day for international students already studying in the UK on Wednesday 4th November 2009, 1 – 4pm.

Leeds is a world-class, international university, famous for the quality of its teaching and research. Ranked in the top 100 universities in the world, Leeds offers one of the widest ranges of courses of any university.

The Open Day is your opportunity to experience vibrant campus life, view our extensive range of university facilities and find out about student life from some of our current international students. You can also attend a subject session of your choice to find out more about our flexible courses and academic opportunities including work placements and graduate careers.

Our Open Day programme offers exciting opportunities to attend all of the following sessions and tours:

• 1 - 2pm - An introduction to Leeds University and City
• 2 - 3pm - Campus tours and refreshments
• 3 - 4pm - Subject sessions in business, engineering, biological sciences, education, politics, law, communication studies, computing, physical sciences, maths and more...!

Sessions for Libyan and Saudi students
We are also running dedicated introductory sessions for some nationalities including Libyan and Saudi students who will have the opportunity to meet members of the Libyan and Saudi student societies at Leeds!
