Adopt-a-Book logo

Is there a book that means a lot to you?

A book that has inspired you?

A book that is outstanding in the history of a subject you care about?

A book with some uniquely personal significance for you?

A work by Shakespeare, Isaac Newton, Tolkien - or something only you would think of?

If there is, there may well be a copy in Leeds University Library's Special Collections and we'd like to invite you to be associated with it through Adopt-a-Book at Leeds.

When you adopt a book we will place a bookplate (as opposite) in the book to permanently record your connection with it - and your support for the Library’s conservation funds. The adoption can, if you wish, be made in someone else's name as a gift.
