LIGHT has a history of well-recognised Enterprise and Innovation activity, fully integrated with our Research and Learning & Teaching. We have many active and strong collaborations principally in the healthcare sector, such as the NHS, Medical Royal Colleges, Industry, Charities, Not for profit organisations and Non-Government Organisations.

We are committed to research excellence and also to the impact our work has for the benefit of the economy and society. Our case studies highlight the impact derived from research work within LIGHT, ranging from groundbreaking developments in medical imaging to studies of mobile phone use and brain cancer.
