Leeds Working Papers in Linguistics and Phonetics

Call for papers

Submissions are invited for Volume 16 of the University of Leeds Leeds Working Papers in Linguistics and Phonetics series, covering the academic year 2010/11.

Contributions are sought from staff and students on any aspect of linguistics. Staff and students of the University of Leeds are invited to make submissions, as are colleagues, collaborators and invited speakers from other institutions. An electronic copy should be sent by email to b.c.heselwood@leeds.ac.uk by Monday 4th July 2011.

The submission should conform to the specifications laid out in the style sheet. Any submission that does not conform to these specifications will be returned with the request that the author (first author where more than one) make the necessary changes before the paper is sent for review. There is therefore a risk that the publication deadline may be missed. The paper will then be anonymised and sent to referees. You will be sent an anonymised copy of the referee’s comments. Your revised paper (one copy in Word format and one in pdf) should be submitted by Monday 21st November 2011. Please ensure that any ‘tracked changes’ are suppressed in the Word document.

The author/s retain/s copyright; publication in the Working Papers does not prevent publication elsewhere. It is therefore a good opportunity to get feedback before seeking publication in a full-circulation journal. Papers published in LWPLP can be included in the REF submission.
