Literature search support
- Scoping searches: in-depth, meticulous electronic searching of the literature, using comprehensive search strategies to identify relevant literature.
- Support for systematic reviews.
- Advice on using EndNote to manage references.
Current awareness services
- Advice and training on how to set up alerts from publishers, databases, e-journals and direct subject alerting from websites.
- A regular alerting service directly to you - for however long you require it.
- Listings of recently -published articles of topics not easily identifiable from one source: e.g. palliative care, a multidisciplinary area combining pain control, chronic clinical conditions, end of life, hospital and hospices, pharmacology and drugs ethics, euthanasia, death and dying. Available in print or electronically, citation-only or with abstract.
Training
- Small group, hands-on training e.g. searching health databases, searching for health information on the Web, using EndNote

Lists of forthcoming conferences in any of the medical specialties.
Charges are based on an hourly rate, and will vary according to the time taken and resources utilised. Your requests will be discussed fully with you before any work is undertaken and prior quotes and time-scales will be provided.
