Match Report
On a stormy night at Kirkstall CC and with a bunch of crippled bowlers, Leeds decided to bat first on what was normally a flat batting track. However by the end of the first over with Goodchild out for a duck it looked as though this decision was going to backfire. However a good stand between Blanchard (29) and Fitzpatrick (12) which featured some excellent running between the wickets soon saw the score rise rapidly across the quick outfield. But from there in wickets tumbled at a steady rate with the only exception being Baker who batted excellently amongst the comings and goings for his 33. Although a poor batting performance the total of 108 could have been enough to defend on a slow pitch.

However, clearly seeking to avenge last year's double defeat, the Cookridge batters made steady progress and with the only exception of a slight hiccup in the middle of the innings, progressed comfortably towards the total. Even the introduction of the 'injured' Feltbower who was clearly getting bored just leaning against the fence in the outfield could not stop the run feats with Lindo batting particularly aggressively  to take Cookridge to victory by 5 wickets.
