Welcome to the Health Innovation Hub

We are a resource for academic, clinical and industrial users, who are interested in, or require assistance with, enterprise, innovation and knowledge transfer (KT).

What is Enterprise, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer?

E, I & KT refer to the collaborative activities between academic and non-academic partners. They relate to the application of know-how and expertise for social or economic benefit and link to the impact of research upon society at large.

  • We provide information relating to enterprise, innovation and knowledge transfer including intellectual property (IP) issues.
  • We assist in identifying appropriate funding.
  • We identify and introduce appropriate project partners.
  • We assist in developing funding applications including 'Pathways to Impact'.
  • We help with KT-strategy and policy planning and can help raise KT-awareness.
  • We assist with the organisation of KT-related activities, including public engagement activities.
  • We provide information and assistance for development of continuing professional development (CPD) courses in conjunction with the Faculty CPD group.
