An introduction to laboratory facilities in FBS (also for M&H)
This session will introduce you to 7 different
laboratory facilities available to use within the Faculty and also available to members of Medicine and Health. The facilities'
managers will give short presentations on the applications of various techniques
that you might use in your research.
The facilities
are:
Bio-imaging (high resolution light microscopy)
Mass
Spectrometry
Protein-protein (biomolecular) interactions
X-ray
Crystallography
Flow cytometry and cell sorting
Nuclear Magnetic Resonance
(NMR)
Electron Microscopy
This workshop is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for
new PhD students.
