The FASTER group contributes to a variety of educational activities within and beyond the university.
Since 2001 the FASTER group has run the British Society for Rheumatology accredited foot and ankle course which has consistently sold out and rates extremely highly in the evaluations. The team synthesised its combined expertise from these courses into the 2006 text:

The team is involved extensively in CPD, running an in-house rheumatology update for podiatrists, rheumatologists and GPs and delivering the CPD program on-site in NHS trusts 6-8 times a year (for enquires please contact Dr Redmond). Leeds founded the arc funded AHP internship scheme, which now provides a model for attracting the best AHPs in to musculoskeletal research. Through a collaboration with the University of Southampton 10 of the best AHPs have been brought into research roles and from the backbone of a growing cadre of PhD students and research fellows.
