The FASTER group is based within the LIMM Section of Musculoskeletal Disease.

The FASTER group works closely with the NIHR Leeds Biomedical Research Unit. Clinical and laboratory facilities are located on the shared University of Leeds musculoskeletal site at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust, Chapel Allerton Hospital.

Facilities include, a large motion analysis laboratory (pictured) situated within the outpatients department at Chapel Allerton, research-dedicated MRI and ultrasound.

The motion analysis facilities are at the core of the FASTER research portfolio and consist of an 8 camera Vicon MX xsytem coupled with twin Bertec forceplates, EMED and Pedar plantar pressure equipment, Polhemus electromagnetic motion tracking, remote activity monitoring and a 20 foot Gait Rite instrumented walkway.
