Admissions to the Medical School


Thank you for considering an application to study for the MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) course at Leeds. All applications must be made via UCAS (see how to apply). Our target intake into the School is expected to be 223 home students (including all students within the EU and mature/graduate applicants) plus 20 international students.

Graduates from the MBChB are entitled to provisional registration with the GMC with a licence to practice. This licence is subject to graduates demonstrating to the the GMC, that their fitness to practice is not impaired.
