Candidates applying to Medicine at Leeds will be required to take the UK Clinical Aptitude Test (UKCAT). Applicants applying for entry must take the test between June and October the year prior to the year they wish to join the course.
The Clinical Aptitude Test helps universities to make more informed choices from amongst the many highly-qualified applicants. It is designed to be a test of aptitude rather than strictly academic achievement. The test assesses a wide range of mental abilities and behavioral attributes, including verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, abstract reasoning, decision analysis, and non-cognitive analysis.
Please visit the UKCAT website for more information.
