School of Medicine

The School of Medicine Today

The 1990s and early 21st century has seen major restructuring of the Medical Faculty to deal with the new demands placed upon it to fulfil its mission.

Rationalisation of the estate and the academic sub-units of the School of Medicine has resulted in the establishment of four Institutes, with the Leeds Institute of Medical Education managing the teaching activity.
