The Master of Research (MRes) in Medicine is a new taught postgraduate programme of study which starts on 3 September 2012. It is a full time, twelve month course which combines a nine month research project with tuition in research skills.
Structure
The MRes programme comprises 180M credits, consisting of
- A research project: 120M credits
- Student-selected taught modules from a list: 60M credits

- Intercalating medical students after Year 3 MBChB. Apply here
- Medical and science graduates
- International students who may wish to progress to PhD
