Chapel Allerton Rehabilitation Service

The major purpose built development at Chapel Allerton Hospital includes a dedicated 19 bedded rehabilitation ward. The facilities offer specialised rehabilitation for people with neurological injury such as stroke and traumatic brain injury. The outpatients rehabilitation facilities also include a specialised mobility clinic, spasticity management service and a Gait Laboratory.

The Prosthetic service based at Seacroft Hospital is one of the largest in the UK providing rehabilitation for amputees from throughout North & West Yorkshire. In 2003, it received an award as National Centre for Excellence for its holistic approach to patient care. Other departments on this site include, Orthopaedics and Medicine for the Elderly.
