How to apply

Graduation 2010

Welcome to the MBChB Programme at Leeds. Our undergraduate medical programme is a five year course leading to the degree of MBChB, the medical qualification which allows provisional registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) Recognised for the quality of its teaching, and as a leader in the advancement of medical education, we welcome over 250 new undergraduate medical students annually.

Nearly half of our undergraduate medical students also complete an intercalated degree in an area of study relevant to medicine during the course of the programme. In partnership with the University of Bradford we have developed a foundation course and a BSc in Clinical Sciences which attracts students from a wide range of backgrounds. Up to forty students per year are admitted via this, alternative, route

We have a very successful undergraduate medical programme and have recently undergone a review by the GMC. We respond to the ever-changing demands of the NHS landscape and adapt our curriculum accordingly. The curriculum builds on our successes through innovation to continue to develop an excellent student experience.
