Running for mesothelioma research Guy Darlaston, a solicitor with Irwin Mitchell, the law firm which represented June Hancock, is running in his first marathon on 18 April in London. June died of mesothelioma after putting up a titanic struggle against the disease and the negligent company (Turner & Newall) which environmentally exposed her and her community (Armley, Leeds) to the deadly asbestos fibre used in their manufacturing processes. Guy is running in aid of the June Hancock Mesothelioma Research Fund. Anyone who would like to sponsor Guy either per mile or for completing the run, should contact him at: darlastong@irwinmitchell.co.uk April 2004 back to News |
