Feminism and the Visual Arts: Dissertation
40 credits

Pre-requisites ARTF5030, ARTF5040, ARTF5050

Co-requisites None

Objectives
To develop and practice skills in research, analysis and written presentation of an argument; to develop independent study skills; to develop abilities in locating, making and using an appropriate archive; to develop a project with tutorial guidance and group feedback which the student completes as a major written project.

Syllabus
Subject of dissertation to be approved by Director of Studies.

Form of teaching
Dissertation workshop, individual supervision, symposium presentation and feedback.

Form of assessment
Dissertations should be 15,000 words maximum, including all bibliographies, footnotes and appendices. Dissertation to be prepared by 1 September.
