Objectives
To develop and refine research abilities and techniques by identifying, describing and analysing a suitable topic and fittingly handling and presenting documentation in the process of constructing an original and independent argument in a sustained written project.
Syllabus
Subject of dissertation to be approved by Director of Studies.
Form of teaching
Dissertation workshop and individual supervision, symposium and feedback.
Form of assessment
10,000 word dissertation to be submitted by 1 September. (Dissertations should be 15,000 words maximum, including all bibliographies, footnotes and appendices)
