Leeds Railway Station
Leeds Railway Station offers direct half-hourly services to and from Manchester Airport Monday - Saturday, and hourly services via Manchester on Sundays. There are also hourly services to Hull and half-hourly services to and from London King’s Cross Station, as well as an extensive network of train services throughout the UK. The journey time from London (King’s Cross) is approximately 2½ hours. Please note that it may be cheaper to book two single tickets rather than a return, and that it is almost always cheaper to buy your ticket in advance rather than on the train. The best fares are not usually available more than 12 weeks in advance of a journey. The main service provider between London and Leeds is National Express: http://www.nationalexpresseastcoast.com

National Express offers an extensive network of coach services within the UK and, through Eurolines, to cities throughout mainland Europe.
The journey time from London Victoria is approximately 4 hours, and coaches leave roughly every hour. This method of travel is by far the least expensive, often one-third the cost of rail travel.
Local Buses
Many buses from the rail station and from the city centre serve the main campus of the University of Leeds, where the School of Music is located (LS2 9JT), and Devonshire Hall, the site of conference accommodation (LS6 2EQ).
