The School of Music at the University of Leeds brings together internationally acclaimed scholars, composers and performers, to set the highest standards in music research and postgraduate teaching. It is one of the largest academic schools of its kind in the country, and offers supervision and taught programmes across a wide range of undergraduate and research interests.

BA with Year in Industry allows students in the School of Music to spend their third year working on placement in the music industry.BA Music focuses on Western art music in a course that encourages personal and intellectual development.
BA Popular and World Musics focuses on a wide range of popular and traditional music forms from around the globe.
BMus Music Performance 'Abroad' is an exciting four-year degree specialising in performance.

The School of Music will be offering new postgraduate scholarship opportunities for 2010-11, including an AHRC scholarship for Home/EU MMus students, and two Herbert Thompson scholarships for international MMus students.
