Technician- Member of Grimethorpe Colliery Band for over twenty years, all spent on the solo cornet row; band librarian for the last thirteen years. Many notable achievements with the band including numerous recordings, film appearances, tours and concert appearances with all over the world. Grimethorpe are currently Brass Band in Residence at the Royal College of Music.

IT / Technical Services
Co-ordinator- BSc (LMU). Responsible for developing IT projects within the School and managing IT based systems. Dan leads the School's technical team, manages the student PC clusters and provides support for staff & students in the areas of IT and Music Technology. Dan is the School webmaster and is involved at a Faculty level, assisting implementation of the Universities CMS project. Having been part of the University project that delivered the VLE, Dan now assists in the development of e-learning tools and resources across campus.

Student Support Manager- Nicki joined the University staff after graduating from the School of Music in 2001. She is responsible for all aspects of student support in the School including (in conjunction with other staff) undergraduate admissions, learning and teaching and postgraduate research admissions and administration. She is also responsible for the School's timetable and manages a small team of clerical assistants. She is a regular member of the Leeds University Liturgical Choir and Leeds Baroque Choir (soprano).

Studio & Recording Technician- BA Hons (Sheffield). Kerry-Anne is responsible for the maintenance, repair and facilitation of Recording Studios and Concert Hall facilities. She is the recording and mixing engineer for postgraduate performance work and has joined us from Doncaster College where part of her role was to work as an authorised level 1 Digidesign and Apple Logic Pro 7 Trainer. Prior to her technological pathway in 1998 Kerry-Anne studied music and performance specialising in French Composers and Opera, Piano, Voice & composition. Her freelance pursuits include working as a Producer and Sound Engineer for Studio and Live/Ambient recordings and Sound Mixer for Film and TV. She has worked on commercial, internationally released albums including; Keith Tippett & Pete Fairclough, Imago, Maria Lynch, Time between Times and Charanga Del Norte, Our Mam in Havana

School Secretary- PA to Head of School and School Secretary. Joined the University in 1973, first in administration, and then from 1978 in the Music Department. She is responsible in conjunction with staff for student welfare, human resources within the School, administration of the School, School accounts and purchasing, bookings of all facilities within the School (both internal and external), and hospitality, She also deals with financial matters for both staff and outside customers., and is responsible for alumni records. She is a good listener for any students who need help!
