The University is taking part in a major global event aiming to get one billion people to switch off their lights for one hour to show they care about people and wildlife threatened by climate change.
Earth Hour 2010 is run by WWF UK, and aims to show that the academic and student population are committed to taking positive action on climate change.
All non essential lighting will be switched off on Saturday 27 March between 8.30-9.30 pm.
