Course Overview
Do you see your creative endeavours as part of the bigger picture? Ever wanted to know more about creative businesses and how they work? Do you want to stand back and reflect on your own creative practice and ambitions? Are you interested in getting involved in cultural projects and policy development? Do you want to see how creativity can be an agent of cultural, social and economic change?
Who is the Programme for?
- CCE is for those interested in creative businesses, cultural policy and management, urban regeneration or international cultural development.
- It is aimed at graduates who have already embarked on careers related to the cultural and creative industries or see themselves progressing in that direction.
- You can pursue this programme full time and part time.
What is the programme about?
- It is important to highlight that this is not an Arts Management programme.
- Instead, we offer an exciting and challenging programme of modules and extra-curricular activities designed to develop your theoretical understanding of creative entrepreneurship and to provide you with opportunities to apply that knowledge.
- You will have opportunities to participate in internships with major creative businesses and policy bodies and engage in creative projects.

Culture, Creativity and Entrepreneurship
I have been at Leeds University for four years now and absolute love every aspect of life here. I am heavily involved in activities within the Performance and Cultural Industries School, as well as playing an active role in a number of societies, specifically the RAG (Raise And Give).
Culture Creativity and Entrepreneurship
I majored in Economics for my bachelor degree. I had been involved in many activities within the area of culture, creativity and design before I entered the MA programme. I achieved four Chinese National New and Practical Model Patents. I am also a qualified Chinese mid-level tea artist.
Culture Creativity and Entrepreneurship
My main educational background consists of a BA in Applied Economics and a wide variety of curriculum subjects in music (diplomas in Piano, Music Theory, Arrangement & Conducting). This led me to a 6-year career in the cultural sector that includes the coordination of numerous artistic events and productions
