I knew I wanted to study an arts-based course at a top University and after attending a well-organised open day, I decided to apply to Leeds. I had heard great things about the course as well as the city’s famous nightlife, which, as an 18-year-old moving away from home was naturally high on my criteria!

I have always had a passion for the arts in all forms especially theatre and film. I adore learning new things on a daily basis about the subjects which interest me, studying Performance Design has given me the opportunity to do this, through not only academic work but also by spending time with the like-minded friends that I have made over the last three years.

I am very sociable and try to make the most of both the academic and social sides of university life. My main interests revolve around the events industry, not only do I enjoy attending events I have a passion for organising them too. Something that goes hand in hand with this is my passion for music and I have recently taken up Djing as a hobby.
