As well as the coaching report, Questionmark also provides a wide range of additional, powerful reporting tools. In order to ensure the optimum performance of the Questionmark server, the VLE team are responsible for running any reports that you may require. However, the reporting tools are available to all users on the staging server, where you can become familiar with their capabilities.
When you wish to see a report other than that available from within Blackboard, please contact the Questionmark support team stating:
- The assessment name.
- The Group name used in any scheduling or embedded in the assessment link.
- The dates between which the assessments were taken.
- The type of report desired.
Tip - one of the most useful report types is Export to Excel, which provides an easy to read view of all participants details, their overall scores, and also how they have responded to every question.
Export to ASCII is another useful report, which produces a CSV file that can be opened in a spreadsheet such as Excel. This can record the full details of every attempt made on the assessment including participant name, time taken, overall marks, answers given to individual questions and marks given for individual questions.
Another very useful report type is the Survey report, which gives an overview of how a group performed in a particular assessment, displaying histograms of responses for some question types (e.g. multiple choice questions).
