Updating from version 4.3 to version 4.4
The Questionmark Perception servers were upgraded from version 4.3 of the software to version 4.4 on 18th August 2008.
If you were using Questionmark prior to this upgrade, you will find that when you first log on to a shared repository in Authoring Manager after this date you will get a warning message telling you that the version of the server you are connecting to is more recent than the version of Authoring Manager you have on your machine, and offering you the chance to download an upgrade.
If you have administrator rights you can go ahead and download the upgrade by following the steps below.
If you do not have administrator rights, or experience other problems during installation, you will need to contact ISS Help Desk or your local IT support team to arrange for installation.
