How much is it worth?
Up to £1,000 spread over two years, subject to satisfactory progression.
Who is eligible?
Home/EU fee paying students who have achieved the academic excellence(A*AA at A-level or equivalent) criteria in your previous studies in a single academic year and in specific subjects. For information on the excellence criteria visit the Faculty of Biological Sciences website

The Dean of Engineering Excellence Scholarships — Engineering and Computing

How much is it worth?
Up to £4,000 spread over four years, subject to satisfactory progression. Translates to £1,000 per year.
Who is eligible?
Home/EU rated fee paying students who achieve A*A*A at A-level (A2) or equivalent. The grades must be in subjects required for the course. Student must be new to the University and enter onto level 1.

How much is it worth?
Up to £3,000 spread over 4 years, subject to satisfactory progression. Translates to £1,000 in years one and two and £500 in years three and four.

The Dean's Excellence Scholarships — Mathematics

How much is it worth?

Single honours courses, £3,000 to £4,000 spread over three or four years, subject to satisfactory progression. Translates to £1,000 per year.

Joint honours courses (excluding the Chemistry and Mathematics course as this is covered under the Dean's Excellence Scholarship — Chemistry), £1,500 spread over three years, subject to satisfactory progression. Translates to £500 per year.

Who is eligible?

For single honours, UK/EU rated fee paying students who achieve A*A*A at A-level (A2), including Mathematics.

For joint honours (excluding Chemistry and Mathematics), UK/EU rated fee paying students who achieve A*AA at A-level (A2), including Mathematics.

Other equivalent qualifications will also be considered. The grades must be in subjects required for the course.
