The Faculty of Performance, Visual Arts and Communications is committed to widening access and participation through a range of strategies:

We make our education accessible to those who can benefit – regardless of their background.

We have a comprehensive and proactive programme of activity to increase opportunities. This ranges from raising aspirations with children and adults in areas of low educational participation, through to ensuring that these students are supported once they are at the University.

We have a fair, clear and transparent admissions policy.

We recruit high quality students from all areas including under-represented and non-traditional students.

We actively engage in raising the aspirations of school children in our city and region for entry into higher education, particularly at Leeds.
