Grant Kick-Off Meetings
The kick-off meetings are held between the Principal Investigator (PI) and the post-award team for all non-EU projects. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the finances, recruitment issues, project management arrangements, reporting requirements and Sponsor specific actions/responsibilities. The meeting is very informal with opportunity for the PI to ask questions relating to their project.
Procedure
• The post-award team will contact the PI soon after the successful outcome of the proposal is known to organise the kick-off meeting
• Meeting date arranged and confirmed by e-mail invite from the post-award team
• 1 week before the kick-off meeting an Agenda Pro-forma will be e-mailed to the PI and they will be asked to bring this to the meeting with them
