The key responsibilities:-

• Costing and pricing of ALL research applications. This includes fellowships and outline proposals.
• Internal Peer Review
• Institutional authorisation of ALL externally funded research applications
• Ethical Review
• Research Data Risk Assessment
• Public benefit test

Please note that it is the responsibility of the applicant to inform the FRO in writing if they wish to submit a funding application between 6 and 12 weeks prior to the submission date.
