Options panel named

The Committee of Vice-Chancellors and Principals has agreed the membership and timetable for the panel of experts appointed to review funding options for higher education.

Chaired by Professor Sir William Taylor, the 12-strong group of vice-chancellors and finance specialists is to complete a report on the sector’s needs and a variety of costed funding options by September. Its members include the vice-chancellors of Sheffield Hallam and Huddersfield universities, Professors Diana Green and John Tarrant.
