White Rose university consortium
The
White Rose University Consortium is a strategic partnership between Yorkshire’s
leading research universities of Leeds, Sheffield and York. Since it was
formed in 1997, the Consortium has generated more than £60 million
of additional funding for the Universities by combining strengths in science,
technology, enterprise and learning.
The research power of the Consortium is equal to that of any institution in the UK, ranks alongside the international excellence of Cambridge, Oxford and Imperial College, and accounts for 86% of the region's research spend.
By combining strengths, particularly in science and technology our goal is to ensure that our partner institutions and the Yorkshire region can prosper through unity and benefit from a range of opportunities and initiatives. These include collaborative research, exploiting commercial and business opportunities, industrial partnerships and joint postgraduate scholarships.
Our five star rated research departments undertake major research projects on behalf of blue-chip companies and have a reputation for delivering excellent results. White Rose is actively seeking new research alliances and investments. If you wish to discuss a research investment or collaboration then please get in touch or click on the Consortium logo to find out more.
