It is also available for download to students, staff and members of the public for personal use. "Russian Language Routines" by David Adshead and Mike Beilby is a networked CD Rom of drill exercises for practice and revision of nouns, verbs, adjectives and vocabulary, from basic to advanced level. To access networked software in any ISS computer cluster, double-click the "Departmental Software" icon, select "Russian" and then the software you require. Please note that you must provide your own personal stereo headphones in order to listen to the sound. Other free software to download"Interlex vocabulary tester" by Andrew Quilley. A program written by a graduate of the Department for self-testing on a wide range of vocab topics or for creating your own test files. Also supports other languages such as French and German.
