All staff are invited to give their feedback on the new protocol on Permits-to-work. These are written records authorising specific high risk work  and are usually carried out by FD Estates–e.g. hot works, work in confined spaces, on pressurised/ steam systems, high/ low voltage systems, medical and industrial gas systems or excavations/ digs.  The consultation is open until Friday 8th June.

Local Exhaust Ventilation systems (LEVs) – we were aiming to invite staff to give us their feedback as part of a broad consultation phase starting Friday 27 April. However some fundamental issues regarding responsibilities have not yet been resolved.
