Scope

This document will apply to all activities at the University of Leeds, but will be particularly helpful in assessing local risks within faculties, schools and services.

Assessments will take into account risks created by the University which could affect people, property and in some circumstances data. The people who could be affected include

  • Staff
  • Students
  • Visitors
  • Contractors
  • Members of the public, and
  • Anyone who may be affected by University activities.

Attention will also be given to staff working for different organisations, and for University staff working in buildings occupied by employers of other organisations.
