  • Mohamed Naaim, Engineer (Fluid Mechanics, ENSHMG, Grenoble, 1986), Doctor ès Sciences (Fluid Mechanics, University Joseph Fourier, 1991), Research Director - Accredited to Supervise Research (HDR, University Joseph Fourier, 1998), has long experience in the numerical modelling of avalanches and drifting snow.
  • He supervises 6 PhD theses. He is responsible for the development of snow drift and snow avalanche simulation software and involved in the integration of numerical models in the zoning tools.
  • He is the co-ordinator of the Cadzie EU project. He participates in and co-ordinates national and regional projects on avalanches and natural hazards (INSU, CPER Rhône-Alpes).
