LSSI - Who We Are
Leeds Social Sciences Institute is a cross-faculty platform which supports interdisciplinary collaboration across the University of Leeds and with external stakeholders. We are dedicated to bringing the varied expertise and methodologies of the social sciences to bear on the complex societal challenges facing the world.
We work across three main areas of activity:
- Developing and promoting interdisciplinary research between and beyond the social sciences.
- Skills training and capacity building.
- Maximising impact, knowledge exchange and public and policy engagement from our social science research.
We host the university’s Economic and Social Research Council’s (ESRC) Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) and support the ESRC White Rose Doctoral Training Partnership. Find out more About LSSI.
