1. Any non-finalist student who has failed a module is permitted to retake it in August*.
2. Any student who has been awarded a 'first attempt' in August by their School's Board/Committee of Examiners must apply to take their exams and assessments in August. You will be informed by your School if you have been allowed to sit your module as a first attempt.
There is no fee payable for first attempt modules, however you may be charged a late administration fee of £100 if you apply for first attempts after the deadline of 19 July 2012.
Any resit or first attempt must be taken at the next opportunity, and failure to do so will result in the loss of an attempt. Marks for modules which are not taken will be returned as Absent.
*provided the student has not been debarred from resitting in August by their teaching school (indicated by an 'S' next to the grade)
