Course at a glance

The aim is to learn the R package.  Thus the course is structured in such a manner that isolates the practicalities of R from an understanding of the statistical methods.  Delegates who also seek knowledge of the statistical methodology should consider combining this course with the appropriate option from the suite of available courses offered by Statistical Thinking.

The first day provides an overview of the R package, data structure and manipulation and introduces the command language.  Day two continues to develop familiarity with the R language and introduces script files.  Topics cover production of summary statistics, graphs and data analysis.

S+: please note that this course is also suitable for those wishing to learn S+.
