A 5-day summer school delivering a sound base for the user of biostatistical methods.

School at a glance

Day 1 establishes a basic understanding of research methodology, covering study design, sampling and data types, allowing context of subsequent material. 

Days 2 and 3 develop a grounding in Biostatistics, covering topics of estimation and confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, correlation and agreement. 

Days 4 and 5 consider sample size, risk and odds ratios, survival analysis and screening.  Aspects of critical appraisal are incorporated throughout.

 

**Included in the price of this course is a workshop dinner held on the Wednesday night at a local restaurant in Leeds City Centre.**
