Aim of the course
By the end of the course, delegates should be able to:
- identify when to use regression techniques
- justify causal relationships
- discuss bias and confounding
- explain “dummy variables”
- determine when to adjust for a variable
- identify when to model a (non-)linear trend
- recognise when to transform data
- comprehend effect modification
- produce fitted models using a computer
- interpret the results
