Aim of the School
By the end of the course, delegates should be able to:
- identify when to use regression modelling techniques
- discuss bias and confounding
- justify causal relationships
- determine when to adjust for a variable
- identify when to model a (non-)linear trend
- recognise when to transform data
- comprehend interactions
- recognise some (non-) hierarcherical data structures
- assess model fit
- explain MCMC
- use appropriate computer software to implement analysis
- interpret the results
