The Portal provides access to a wealth of online administrative services, giving you access to personal information and enabling you to keep track of your financial transactions. These help you to obtain the information you need as quickly as possible at a time that is convenient for you. Click here to access the Portal.
Online services for students available through the Portal
The following services can all be accessed by clicking on the Student Services & Admin tab within the Portal.
Registration
- Register with the University
- View your registration status
- View personal tutor information
Personal Information
- View and update addresses, telephone numbers and emergency contacts
- View email addresses and set up an auto forward for emails
- View information on how to request a change to your name
Modules
- Enrol on modules
- View your modules
Timetable
- View your online personal timetable
Examinations
- View your module marks
- View your provisional module marks
- View your end of year results and apply for any module resits
- Send feedback form on exams/assessments results processes
- View any special arrangements that have been made for exams if you have informed us of a disability
Financial Aid
- Provide bank details for Financial Support paid by the University
- Provide Bank details for Leeds Bursary payments
Graduation
Please check your graduation choice on the Portal to ensure the ceremonies office have the correct graduation information for you.
Please follow the below steps on the Portal to check your graduation choice:
- You must Log onto the portal by clicking on the Portal tab
- Once in the Portal, please click on the Student Services and Admin tab at the top
- Please click on ‘Log me into Student Services'
- Please click on the Graduation tab at the top to access the Graduation information
- You must click on ‘select term of your graduation' button and enter the current term which is 200809 and submit
- Check all addresses by clicking on the ‘Update Address(es), Phone(s) and Emergency Contact(s)' button at the bottom of the page. If any the address information is incorrect follow the instructions to make the amendments.
Online payment facility
The following services are available within the online payment facility which can be accessed by clicking on the Student Services & Admin tab within the Portal or, alternatively, from http://www.leeds.ac.uk/ssc/fees.htm .
- Set up an instalment for tuition fees
- Set up an instalment plan for accommodation fees
- Make an immediate payment by credit/debit card
- View your account summary or statement
- View/change your Personal Identification Number (PIN)
- Purchase Sports User card membership
Online Services for academic staff available through the Portal
The Portal provides access to a wealth of online administrative and learning and teaching support services. Click here to access the Portal.
The following services can all be accessed by clicking on the Student Services & Admin (Web for Faculty) tab within the Portal.
- For modules that you have been assigned to in Banner:
- Display a module class list
- Export a module class list to Excel
- Email an individual student on that module class list
- Email a whole class
- Display student photographs
- For group activities that you are teaching (e.g. seminars, tutorials):
- Display a list of students
- Export a list to Excel
- Email an individual student on that list
- Email a whole class
- Display student photographs
- Display addresses, phone numbers and email addresses of students for whom you are a personal tutor
- Academic transcripts
- Display student academic transcript for those modules that you have been assigned to in Banner
- Display academic transcript for those students for which you are personal tutor
- View your personal teaching timetable
