Your Offer Letter and Pre-Arrival Guide:
-
When we make you an offer, we will send you an official offer
letter and an Information Pack which will include your Pre-Arrival
Guide, your Accommodation Guide, Term Dates and a Contacts List
- If you lose any of these documents, the majority can be printed
off from our Downloads page.
Welcome And Online Registration Information:
- Study Abroad and exchange students are expected to register online prior to arrival. This process will enable you to start using the online facilities available to Leeds students and you will also be able to collect your student card as soon as you arrive in Leeds.
- Students arriving in Leeds in September will be sent Welcome and Registration information at the beginning of August via email. The information will be sent to students arriving in January at the beginning of December, again via email. The email will contain a step-by-step guide to online registration at the University of Leeds, together with frequently asked questions, and will also contain important information about what to do and where to go on arrival in Leeds.
- If you lose any of these documents, the majority can be printed off from our Downloads page.
On Arrival
On arrival, we will help you as much as we can to ensure that you are fully settled into life in Leeds before your course starts. Once you have settled into your accommodation, come down to the International Centre, and collect your Welcome Pack. You can find a map showing the location of the International Centre in the back of the Pre-Arrival Guide which you will receive with your acceptance letter, and also on the downloads page of our website.
Unfortunately the University of Leeds does not run its ‘Meet and Greet’ service in January, but if you need any advice about travelling to Leeds or getting to your accommodation see the links above, or contact the Study Abroad Office.
You will be able to collect a copy of the welcome programme in booklet form from the International Centre if you wish, and this can also be found on our downloads page. We recommend you take part in as many of the events as possible, to help you make new friends before classes start.
